Manchester United have drawn Tottenham Hotspur in the semi final of the FA while Chelsea face Southampton in the other fixture.

Manchester United beat Brighton 2-0 to reach the semi final of the FA Cup while Tottenham brushed Swansea aside with a 3-0 win to progress.

Earlier today, Southampton beat Wigan 2-0 while Chelsea struggled to a 2-1 victory against Premier League side Leicester City.

The ties will take place at Wembley on the weekend of 21-22 April.

All four semi-finalists are in the Premier League; United are second and Tottenham fourth, while Chelsea sit fifth and Southampton 18th.

Tottenham, eight-time winners, last lifted the cup in 1991, while United’s most recent triumph was under Louis van Gaal two seasons ago.

Last year’s runners-up Chelsea have won the trophy seven times, most recently in 2012, while Southampton – in the last four for the first time since 2003 – lifted it for the only time in 1976.
