Lionel Messi has arrived Paris on Tuesday after agreeing a two-year deal with French club, Paris St-Germain, as he brings an end to illustrious Barcelona career that spanned over two decades.
The Argentine agreed a deal that comes with an option to extend his contract until June 2024.
He is expected to earn around €35m net per season add-ons included.
Messi signing for PSG means he will link back up with friend and former Barcelona team-mate Neymar and French young star, Kylian Mbappe.

His arrival has sparked massive reactions on social media including comments from rival clubs and admirers of the diminutive forward across the world.
“It’s extraordinary for Ligue 1,” said Metz coach Frederic Antonetti.
“But for a purist like me, Messi should have finished his career at Barcelona.”
Monaco also had a message for Messi. “Don’t move Leo, your taxi driver is on his way,” the club Twitter account posted with Cesc Fabregas, a close friend of Messi driving.
