French international and Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has reportedly lost his verified X account to hackers.
In the early hours of Thursday, several suspicious derogatory tweets were published on Mbappe’s X page, which many believe has been hacked.
The tweets targeted, among others, his former teammate and world cup winner Lionel Messi and Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.
Describing Messi as a “midget,” while sharing a crying picture of the former Barcelona talisman, one of the tweets published by the hackers reads, “Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest footballer of all time. This midget is not my goat.”
While calling for the liberation of Palestine, one of the tweets by the alleged hackers also berated Israel over the war with Palestine.
“Free Palestine,” the tweet reads.
At the time of filing this report, Mbappe had yet to comment on the alleged hacking of his X handle.
The former PSG forward has been in fine form since joining Spanish giant Real Madrid on a free transfer this summer.
He is expected to be in the lineup when Madrid lock horns away at UD Las Pamas on Thursday.
