Flykite Productions, organisers of GOtv Boxing Night, have assured that fans coming to the event on 14 April have nothing to fear as it hosts GOtv Boxing Night 14.

The event, which holds at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium in Lagos, will feature seven fights in different weight categories.

Jenkins Alumona, Flykite Productions, Managing Director, stated that fans will have nothing to fear in and around the event venue.

He explained that provision of adequate security has always been a major feature of the event and the reason for which not a single breach has been recorded since the event began in 2014.

“We have a hundred per cent record in terms of security. One of our partners, KSquare Security, is the leader in the security sector. We are also in touch with the Police.

There is nothing to fear. This is a family show and we want fathers, mothers and children to feel safe in and around the venue,” he said.

Rilwan “Baby Face” Babatunde will fight for the West African Boxing Union welterweight title against Djossou Agoy Basile of the Republic of Benin. Two lightweight bouts are scheduled.

One, for the national title, will see Rilwan Oladosu take on Kazeem “Ijoba” Badmus while the other is a challenge duel between Oto “Joe Boy” Joseph and Prince “Lion” Nwoye.

In the cruiserweight division, Abiodun “Finito” Afini will confront Ramon “Hyena” Razak. The middleweight category will see Chukwuebuka “Wise King” Ezewudo up against Semiu “Jagaban” Olapade, while Sulaimon “Olags” Adeosun will confront Majesty Maduka in the light heavyweight division.
