Victor Osimhen has been named the Best African International Player at the Ghana Football Awards.
The Napoli striker received the most votes, ahead of Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez, and Moroccan Yassine Bounou.
Osimhen clinched the award for the first time and he is the first Nigerian to do so.
The 24-year-old previously won two individual awards this season.
The Nigeria international won the Serie A top scorer award and was also named the best striker in the league.
The Napoli forward is also a strong contender for African Player of the Year.
