The former Leicester City midfielder has been in sensational form since moving to London, and has been rewarded with the coveted trophy.
The award is voted for by the other Premier League players, with Kante winning the 2016-17 crown after an excellent season since moving from Leicester City.
Riyad Mahrez won the award last season with the Foxes, with Eden Hazard, Luis Suarez and Gareth Bale all lifting the trophy in the last five years.
