Taiwo Awoniyi of the Super Eagles and Nottingham Forest has been nominated for the EPL Player of the Month award for August.
Awoniyi has been in excellent form for Forest this season, contributing a goal in every game played.
The 26-year-old has three goals and set up Anthony Elanga’s game-winning goal against Chelsea before the international break.
Manchester City midfielder Rodri has also been nominated. He has two goals and one assist to help City preserve their four-game winning streak at the top of the table.
The list also includes Jarod Bowen (Westham), James Maddison (Tottenham), Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford), and Kaoru Mitoma (Brighton).
Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool), David Moyes (West Ham), and Ange Postecoglou (Tottenham) have all been nominated for manager of the month.
