Senator Shehu Sani has enjoined Nigerian youths to reduce their social media usage, and venture into active politics.
The former Kaduna central senator, made the call in a statement on his verified X page on Monday.
While urging Nigerian youths to join active politics, Sani mentioned that politicians running the affairs of the country and those in the opposition, ventured into politics at their youthful age.
He warned the youths against wasting their youthful age on social media, urging them to vie for political offices in the country.
“Dear Young People, All the people you see in Government and in the opposition were of your age in 1999 when they contested for office and now ruling over you,” he said
“Don’t exhaust your youthful age in the social media or the comment section. Aspire to contest the election and shape the country in line with your dreams,” he added.
