President Bola Tinubu on Thursday congratulated Bishop Wale Oke on his re-election as the national president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN.
The conference, which began on Tuesday, is scheduled to conclude on Friday.
Chronicle NG reported that the PFN re-elected Bishop Oke as its president during the 18th Biennial National Conference held in Abuja.
In his congratulatory message contained in a statement by the presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described Bishop Oke as a “respected religious leader”.
The president also congratulated the Christian faithful and commended Bishop Oke for “his consistent effort in promoting religious harmony and national renaissance, as demonstrated in his Nigeria Turning Point Prayer Movement”.
Tinubu also offered prayers for a renewed anointing of Oke as he continues his leadership in the Christian community.
Bishop Wale Oke is the presiding bishop of Sword of the Spirit Ministries International, which he founded in 1983. He is also the Chancellor of Precious Cornerstone University, PCU.
