More revelations have unfolded following the BBC Africa Eye documentary on the activities of rape, abuse, and other vices perpetuated by popular clergy and founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, the late TB Joshua.
In the three-part video documentary, seen by Chronicle NG one of the victims, Ajoke, who claims to be the daughter of the prophet born outside wedlock claimed that the prophet severally abused, beat and locked her up for months because she confronted him over his negative conduct.
Collaborating Ajoke’s claim, other victims who gave various accounts of happenings in the inner circle of TB Joshua in the documentary said the clergy did everything possible to hide his alleged daughter from the public as he believed the public knowledge of Ajoke would cast aspersions on his reputation.
However, one of the disciples of the late prophet known as Wiseman Harry who currently heads a branch of the church in Thessalonica, Greece debunked the claim that Ajoke is the biological daughter of TB Joshua.
Responding to a question raised in a viral video seen by Chronicle NG, Harry said, ” Ajoke is a very painful story by itself. Why? Because she was abandoned by her biological mother probably under a truck outside the church premises and she was found there by one of the security men when he heard the cry of a baby.”
“She was just a few days old when they brought her to Prophet TB Joshua to say they found this baby under the truck outside in the street”
Speaking further Harry said, “Prophet TB Joshua as a loving father, took Ajoke as one of his children and gave her documents, he gave her a passport with his name on it and adopted her making her his child instead of throwing her in the orphanage or send for someone else to take care of her.”
“Mama Evelyn (TB Joshua’s wife) took her as her child even though she was not. Ajoke was not the biological child of Prophet TB Joshua, he did not have her with another woman as they claim, they can at any time take a DNA test to discover if she was a genuine child or not.”
Narrating how the late cleric showered love on his adopted daughter, Harry continued, “At a certain summer, Prophet TB Joshua asked me to take his wife, his daughter, Promise and his adopted daughter, Ajoke, to Greece for holidays, they spent two good weeks, they ate, they drank, they enjoyed themselves. They all enjoyed a wonderful life.”
On how the relationship between TB Joshua and Ajoke deteriorated, Harry said, “By the time she entered (Ajoke) her teenager years when she became 14, 15 years old she began misbehaving and sometimes the prophet will have to correct her and tell her ‘what you doing is wrong and because of what you did you will have to stay here for what you did’. There was nothing like imprisonment. Ajoke moved freely among all of us. She lived among the disciples. All that they are saying is a pure lie.”
“At a certain stage, Ajoke decided to leave the church. You are free to leave the prophet said but before you leave let me remove my name from your passport”
“The prophet knew she was a daughter of perdition, she wasn’t meant to be saved,” Wiseman noted.
