Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government.
The minister congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.

According to the permanent secretary in the ministry, Dr Magdalene Ajani, the minister advised all Muslims to embrace the values of self-discipline, compassion, charity, and peace, highlighting the importance of love, forgiveness, and solidarity in creating a harmonious community.
