A Lagos-based pastor and motivational speaker, Olumide Emmanuel, has stated that Nigeria has no future with the trio of President Bola Tinubu, former vice president Atiku Abubakar, and Mr. Peter Obi.

The cleric, who is the General Overseer of Calvary Bible Church, based in Idimu, a suburb of Lagos State, made this known while featuring on the Honest Bunch Podcast, anchored by popular on-air personality and comedian Nedu Wazobia.

The common sense guru, as he is popularly known by his followers, stated that neither the trio can take the nation to a future that can never be part of.

“Tinubu cannot help Nigeria, Atiku cannot help Nigeria, Obi cannot help Nigeria, all these people are old. They can never lead you into a future that they can not be a part of. Because they are all analogue. They can’t help you.”

“Let’s not fool ourselves. The Obi they were all shouting, is he not from PDP? So what are you talking about? They are just wasting your time. These people are all from the same box. My own challenge is how we reduce ourselves to a level where the only options we have are old people? And all of us now see it as an option. And we are not ready to face reality.” Olumide stated.

Making a comparison of the Nigerian situation with that of the United States, he said, “When America started putting old people in the presidency from Donald Trump, look at America today. Look at the old one we did there now.”

Challenging the Tinubu administration to live true to its various policies, the cleric posited that the government should lead the way in its implementation of its programmes and policies rather than forcing it on average Nigerians.

“If you look at what the present government is doing, they are doing the right things. But see, the problem now is not that they are doing the right thing. It’s that they are coming up with the right policy, but they are not subjecting themselves to what it will take.

“You are now telling everybody to tighten their own, but you are not tightening your own. So that is the problem. Not that the policy is wrong, but the people putting the policy outside, they are not putting themselves under the policy.” he stated.

Recall that the trio of President Bola Tinubu, former Vice President Atiku, and Mr. Peter Obi contested the presidency of Nigeria in the country’s 2023 presidential election on the platforms of the All Progressives Congress, Peoples Democratic Party and Labour Party, respectively

The election produced President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner with over 8 million votes.
