    Governor Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa and Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi

    Governor Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa State has hailed his Kogi State counterpart, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for upholding the leadership ideals of President Muhammadu Buhari.

    Al-Makura gave the commendation while receiving Governor Bello at the Government House, Lafia, saying Bello has been an advocate of a united Nigeria.

    According to Al-Makura, the visit of Governor Bello and other Governors to Benue to sympathize with the people of Benue, was a “loud testimony of the unity and peace that exists among the APC Governors”.

    “Let me use this opportunity to thank Governor Yahaya Bello for standing up for a united Nigeria. He is a Governor that possesses the leadership qualities of Mr President.

    “We are keeping track of the achievements of your administration in Kogi State. Let me tell you that you have made our party proud. You are promoting the core ideals of our great party.

    “I want to tell Nigerians that both Benue and Nasarawa States are poised to keep working together for the betterment of our people.”

    Earlier, Governor Bello thanked Al-Makura for providing leadership in the North Central, saying his Nasarawa State counterpart has displayed “exceptional statesmanship” in the face of the Benue incident.
