Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has expressed shocked following the death of his Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu.
It was gathered that he suddenly took ill and was rushed to the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH) where he passed on at about 2pm on Saturday.
Though the nature of his sickness was unknown, described late Nwakaudu, who hails from Abia State was a loyal and dedicated professional who contributed immensely to the implementation of The New Rivers Vision.
The governor in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Paulinus Nsirim, condoled with Nwakaudu’s family and prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the great loss.
“The governor on behalf of his family, the government and good people of the State condole with the bereaved family.”
