Religious and non-religious people have taken to social media for diverse reasons to initiate the New Year’s Day celebration, expressing their wishes and messages with the phrase “God in 2025.”
Some of their reasons were simply belief in divinity for guidance and dependence to navigate the hurdles that come with the New Year, while others were passive statements to celebrate 2025.
Chronicle NG reports reactions that elucidate “God in 2025” in various contexts.
Apeke Olami noted that “Everyone wants to build their relationship with God in 2025. Everyone wants to move closer to God in 2025. But all hotels are booked out. It’s well,” she added.
Coco Michelle explained, “I was challenged to write out 300 things I want (need) from God in 2025… that was not easy, but I did it. God, I’m not (that) needy, but I need you! None of these things are possible without you,” she added.
Nnenna noted, “Welcome to 2025! With God in 2025, this year is filled with hope, purpose, and possibilities. Happy 2025 to everyone stepping into their season of growth and peace. Let’s make it count!
