The Kano Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has dismissed Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, confirming Nasiru Gawuna, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, as the winner of the March 18 poll.
Abba Yusuf, who ran on the platform of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), was proclaimed the election winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) following the March vote.
