    Tinubu stands out in Sokoto as he leads in 10 councils

    Out of the 23 local government districts in Sokoto State that have been announced so far, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate, is in the lead in 10.

    He has received 101,612 votes so far.

    Atiku Abubakar, a candidate for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), comes in second with 98,080 votes.

    The Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi now has 342 votes.

    At 10 p.m. on Sunday, the results of the presidential election started to be announced.

    • Tinubu adds Oyo to his wins, clears all LGs

    Tureta, Kware, Bodinga, Shagari, Gudu, Yabo, Rabah, Tangaza, Binji, and Wurno are the local government areas that have been so far announced.
