President Bola Tinubu has named Dr. Mohammed Aminu as Registrar/Chief Executive Officer of the National Business and Technical Examinations Board.
The president’s spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, stated that Aminu has a Ph.D. in automobile technology and a master’s in procurement and supply chain management.
Aminu offers 28 years of expertise in teaching, administration, research, and policy creation in his current position.
He formerly worked as the Director of Procurement at the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure.
Tinubu urged the incoming NABTEB Registrar to use his extensive experience to foster transformational leadership in the agency, ensuring that it continues to assess and certify skilled human resources critical to Nigeria’s industrial growth.
The President has also chosen Mr. Idris Olorunnimbe as Chairman of the Universal Basic Education Commission Board.
Mr. Rasaq Olajuwon has been named UBEC’s Deputy Executive Secretary (Technical), with Tunde Ajibulu serving as Deputy Executive Secretary (Services).
Olorunnimbe has extensive experience in innovative leadership and a strong dedication to youth empowerment and education.
As Group CEO of The Temple Company, which he formed in 2016, he oversaw innovative efforts in education, entertainment, and sport.
Before his appointment, Olajuwon was Director of Administration and Human Resources at the Lagos State Infrastructure Maintenance and Regulatory Agency.
Tinubu urged the new appointees to boost the human resources required to promote educational reforms and improve service delivery at UBEC, hence providing wider access to quality basic education nationally.
