The Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) has a new board and management, as nominated by President Bola Tinubu.
According to a statement issued on Friday by presidential spokeswoman Ajuri Ngelale.
He stated that they would remain in office “for a renewable term of four (4) years, in accordance with Section 2(3) of the FERMA Amendment Act, 2007″.
Among the new appointees are:
- Engr. Imam Ibrahim Kashim Imam – Chairman of the FERMA Board
- Engr. Chukwuemeka Agbasi – Managing Director
- Yusuf Lawal Othman – NARTO representative
- Engr. Ibi Terna Manasseh – FMW representative
- ACM Shehu Mohammed – FRSC
- Babatunde Daramola-Oniru – Member (Finance)
- Preye Oseke – Member (South-South)
- Hon. Oye Ojobe – Member (South-West)
- Dr. Kenneth Ugbala – Member (South-East)
- Senator Timothy Adudu – Member (North-Central)
- Engr. Abubakar Bappa – Member (North-East)
- Aminu Adamu Papa – Member (North-West)
“President Tinubu expects the new appointees to achieve integrous and competent service delivery, given the central role that the institution will play in the sustainable health of growth-enabling infrastructure nationwide,” he said.
