Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN was welcomed to his hometown, Owo, Ondo state by an ecstatic crowd who joined him to celebrate his victory.
The celebration was as a result of the Supreme court verdict which upheld his victory at the October 10, 2020 governorship election.
Governor Akeredolu who has just visited his home town for the first time since the Supreme Court verdict, was greeted with a jubilant crowd at Emure-Ile junction who accompanied him down to his residence at GRA, Ijebu-Owo.
Residents of Owo town came out in droves to celebrate with their son who was extremely happy to be celebrated by his kinsmen.
Secretary to the State Government, Princess Oladunni Odu, Chief of staff to the Governor, Chief Gbenga Ale, Commissioner for Lands and Infrastructure, Engr. Raimi Aminu, Special Adviser to the Governor on Union Matters and Special Duties, Mr Dare Aragbaiye, members of the House of Assembly representing Owo constituency I and his constituency II counterpart, Hon. Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi and Adeyemi Olayemi, Chairman of the council, Hon. Chief Samuel Adegbegi, Special Assistant to the Governor on Natural Resources, Hon. Fatai Olushina and others were among the dignitaries who joined the people to welcome the Governor into his home town.
