A tragic fire in Sokoto State has claimed the lives of the daughter of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Muhammadu Bello Sifawa, along with her three children.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday at the home of the deceased, who was the wife of Muhammadu Yusuf Bello, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Sports and Youths Development.

The blaze, which consumed the entire house while the family was asleep, left only the husband as the sole survivor.

Firefighters battled the flames for hours before managing to extinguish the inferno. The cause of the fire remains undetermined.
