
Anambra South senator-elect, Ifeanyi Ubah has dumped the Young Progressive Party for the ruling All Progressives Congress, two days after denying he has switched parties.
Mr. Ubah who had previously backed APC senator, Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan, for senate presidency formally switched to the ruling party on Monday.
Confirming his switch, the APC national chairman described Mr. Ubah’s move as a smart one.

Oshiomhole stated this at a dinner hosted by President Muhammadu Buhari for all the party’s senators, senators-elect and some APC state governors at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Mr. Ubah who was among the senators-elect at the dinner, is the chairman of Capital Oil and Gas.
