Three kidnappers have been killed by a joint taskforce of security operatives that rescued the wife of Benue Commissioner for Land and Survey, Mrs. Ann Unenge.
The kidnappers were gunned down during a search and rescue operation on Monday morning.
Mrs Unenge was rescued and taken to the police headquarters around 12: 45pm on Monday.
As of the time of filing this report, residents of the area came out in droves to see the bodies of the slain kidnappers.
