Bashir Ahmed, a former aide to ex-president Muhammadu Buhari, has described Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, as a monumental failure.
In a statement on X on Monday, Ahmed alleged that Obi achieved nothing during his tenure as governor of the South East state.
According to Ahmed, the former governor, who was the candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 presidential election, completed his tenure as governor of Anambra State without any ”tangible progress” or ”legacy.”
”If Peter Obi truly embodies the transformative leader he has been struggling to portray, he could have demonstrated it during his eight years as governor by turning Anambra into a model of good governance in Nigeria,” Ahmed stated.
”However, he achieved nothing during his time. He left Anambra without any tangible progress or a legacy to his name,” he added.
