Apostle Suleiman was almost arrested by DSS in Ekiti State

Nigerians have taken to social media to express their disgust and anger at the attempt of the State Security Service (DSS) to arrest Apostle Johnson Suleiman in Ado Ekiti, capital of Ekiti State in the early hours of 25 Wednesday 2017.

Many took to Twitter to condemn the forceful act of the DSS and the silence of the Federal Government of Nigeria while justifying the statement of Suleiman that Christians to attack herdsmen who try to kill them.

Some also praised Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti for standing up for Apostle Suleiman.

But of course there were others who condemned his statement, saying he was inciting violence.

Apostle Suleiman said if Fulani man near d church, kill them,DSS ve never arrested fulani who invades homes to kill sleeping children.

    NIGERIA IN A DOWNHILL SPIRAL

Fulani Herdsmen kill thousands, nothing happens.

Apostle Suleiman says kill them first, #DSS starts working

    — The Jonathanian (@The_Jonathanian) January 25, 2017

Apostle Suleiman is not your regular type of pastor. He is a political side of Jesus and I respect him for that.

    — AYO SALAU/#LHC2017 (@ayo_salau) January 25, 2017

Why should it be only Gov Fayose that is always standing up for the oppressed. The rest of govs are puppets! "Apostle Suleiman"

    — OlanrewajuBraveH™ (@lireimtlz) January 25, 2017

FG said nothing when innocent christians were being wiped out in their fatherland. Apostle Suleiman speaks andd they send DSS

    — APOSTLE C.J ENEBELI (@apostleenebeli) January 25, 2017

So FG can send armed men to arrest Apostle Suleiman for inciting violence but cant arrest the Fulani herdsmen for perpetrating terrorism? pic.twitter.com/NUVvfkdxgk

    — Just Divine ?? (@CAN_Divine) January 25, 2017

What did Apostle Suleiman say wrong?:
    1. El Rufai is a Short Devil – FACT
    2. Cut herdsmen head before they cut Yours = SPIRITUAL
    So.. ?

    — Mazi Maximus (@DeNigerian) January 25, 2017

The way "Apostle Suleiman" said it. 'Cut his head'! He sounded so sure of what he was saying

    — OlanrewajuBraveH™ (@lireimtlz) January 25, 2017

Herdsmen killings, Southern Kaduna killings,Navy "mistakenly" ? IDPs camp in Born, no arrest. Apostle Suleiman spoke,DSS moves in. Continue.

    — Rose rozay akai (@rozirozay) January 25, 2017

Apostle Suleiman is fulfilling d words of d scriptures in Matt 11:12.. The Kingdom of heaven is suffering violence n he's taking it by force

    — ?Queen Tehser? (@omimeyaya) January 25, 2017

Why cant we simply treat everyone equal? Why cant we? This Nigeria is far from a sovereign Nation. Na hin we dey see with "Apostle Suleiman"

    — OlanrewajuBraveH™ (@lireimtlz) January 25, 2017

And those who has a different stand view…..

Apostle Suleiman Can't Escape This,He Must Be Invited

    — D® EFFA™? (@effalixumab) January 25, 2017

Apostle Suleiman should know that El-Zakzakay and Nnamdi KANU have followers. He's supposes to be a christian Pastor. He should stop this.

    — Sesugh Ugbor (@SUgbor) January 25, 2017

Freedom of speech is not the same thing as inciting violence. Whatever gra gra entered Apostle Suleiman, he's about to find out.

    — 'Seun Fakuade (@seunfakze) January 25, 2017

Apostle suleiman better keep mum and focus on his pastoral duties.
