The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 20 new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria taking the new total to 131.
“Twenty new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Nigeria,” the disease control centre said on Monday.
Of the 20, Lagos recorded 13 new cases while the Federal Capital Territory recorded four.
Two in Kaduna and and in Oyo State.
“As at 09:00 pm 30th March there are 131 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria with 2 deaths,” NCDC said.
In the update by the NCDC, the number of discharged persons were not revealed, although it has been reported that seven persons have so far been discharged.
Currently there are 81 cases in Lagos and 25 in the FCT. Ogun has three cases while Enugu has two.
Others are Oyo with eight and Kaduna with three cases.
“Edo, Bauchi and Osun with two cases each while Rivers, Ekiti and Benue have one cases each.
