The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 389 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Saturday.
The 389 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed cases to 12233.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 130 patients from isolation centers across the country with nine new deaths reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria topped the number of confirmed cases with 66 new cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 5729.
Federal Capital Territory reported 50 new cases while Delta recorded 32 cases and Oyo state reported 31.
Other states are Borno-26, Rivers-24, Edo-23, Ebonyi-23, Anambra-17, Gombe-17, Nasarawa-14, Imo-12, Kano-12, Sokoto-12, Jigawa-8, Ogun-7, Bauchi-5, Kebbi-2, Kaduna-2, Katsina-2, Ondo-2, Abia-1 and Niger-1.
NCDC reports that there are 12233 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 3826 discharged and 342 deaths.
