The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 354 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Thursday.
The 354 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 45,244.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 265 patients from isolation centers across the country with three new deaths reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria reported 76 new confirmed cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 15627.
But it was the Federal Capital Territory that recorded the highest number of cases for the day with 78 news cases.
Kaduna reported 23 new cases, Ebonyi recorded 19 new cases while Oyo, Nasarawa and Rivers recorded 18, 17 and 17 new cases respectively.
Other states are Delta-16, Kwara-15, Akwa Ibom-13, Edo-12, Ogun-12, Plateau-11, Kano-9, Bauchi-6, Borno-6 and Ekiti-6.
NCDC reports that there are 45,244 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 32,430 discharged and 930 deaths.
