    Nigeria announces 321 new coronavirus cases

    The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 321 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Monday.

    The 321 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 52,543.

    The NCDC also announced the discharge of 312 patients from isolation centers across the country with two new deaths reported.

    Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria reported 98 new confirmed cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 17992.

    • Nigeria announces 322 new coronavirus cases

    The Federal Capital Territory reported 34 new cases, Kaduna recorded 30 new cases while Nasarawa, Benue and Plateau recorded 17, 14 and 14 new cases respectively.

    Other states are Rivers-15, Adamawa-11, Ogun-11, Enugu-9, Edo-8, Delta-7, Ekiti-7, Gombe-5, Ebonyi-4, Bayelsa-3, Kano-3, Ondo-3, Cross River-2, Imo-2, Kebbi-2, Niger-2, Abia-1 and Bauchi-1.

    NCDC reports that there are 52,543 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 39,257 discharged and 1004 deaths.
