The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 304 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Sunday.
The 304 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 43841.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 221 patients from isolation centers across the country with five new deaths reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria reported 81 new confirmed cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 15267.
FCT reported 39 new cases, Abia recorded 31 new cases while Kaduna, Rivers and Plateau recorded 24, 23 and 16 new cases respectively.
Other states are Cross River-13, Ebonyi-12, Ondo-12, Ekiti-11, Edo-11, Benue-10, Nasarawa-10, Ogun-6 and Gombe-5.
NCDC reports that there are 43841 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 20,308 discharged and 888 deaths.
