The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 248 confirmed coronavirus cases in the country on Sunday.
The 248 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed cases to 4399.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 33 patients from isolation centers across the country with 15 additional deaths also reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria topped the number of confirmed cases with 81 new cases.
Jigawa reported 35 new cases, Borno recorded 26, Kano had 26 new cases, Bauchi reported 20 while the Federal Capital Territory recorded 13.
Others are 6-Kwara, 5-Oyo, 3-Kaduna, 3-Sokoto, 2-Adamawa, 2-Kebbi, 2-Plateau, 2-Ogun and 1-Ekiti.
Others are 12-Edo, 10-Sokoto, 7-Zamfara, 4-Kwara, 4-Kebbi, 2-Gombe, 2-Taraba, 2-Ogun, 2-Ekiti, 1-Osun and 1-Bayelsa.
