The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 103 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Thursday.
The 103 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 59,841.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 148 patients from isolation centers across the country with no new death reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria reported 39 new confirmed cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 19815.
Rivers state reported 21 new cases, Federal Capital Territory recorded 19 while Oyo state announced 6 new cases.
Other states are Kaduna-4, Bauchi-3, Ogun-3, Imo-2, Kano-2, Benue-1, Edo-1, Nasarawa-1 and Plateau-1.
NCDC reports that there are 59,841 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 51,551 discharged and 1,113 deaths.
