The Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 led by Boss Mustapha has announced the relaxation of nationwide curfew imposed by President Muhammadu Buhari to curb spread of coronavirus.
At a new briefing on Monday, the PTF said although the nationwide curfew will remain, there has been adjustment to the curfew.
The timing now has been readjusted from 10pm to 4am as the country continues to gradually reopen its economy.
The PTF also announced full opening of financial sector. They are expected to operate normal working hours.
The reopening of places of worship, (regular church and mosque services only), to be based on state government protocols. The gathering of more 20 persons however remains prohibited outside of workplaces and worship centres.
Offices must maintain the recommended two metre physical distancing and 75 per cent maximum workforce capacity.
Other guidelines announced are: Interstate travel remains prohibited except for goods and essential travel although the PTF hinted that hotels may reopen.
Restaurants will continue to operate take out only operations, eat-in service remain closed even in hotels.
Bars, gyms, cinemas, nightclubs, parks are all closed until further evaluation of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
