Many people are thought to have been trapped when a two-story residential building in Phase Two, Site Two, Kubwa, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The structure, it was learned, collapsed approximately at 7 a.m on Saturday.

Nkechi Isa, spokesperson for the FCT Emergency Management Agency, said a search and rescue team is on the scene.
This comes on the heels of the incident in Jos, Plateau State, where class halls collapsed at Saint Academy, killing no fewer than 17 students.
Chronicle NG reports that the classrooms, a two-story building, collapsed in the early house with no fewer than 200 staff and students of the institution trapped underneath the rubble.
However, rescuers who stormed the premises of the school helped in rescuing and taking the survivors to the hospital.
