Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced the discharge of nine coronavirus (COVID-19) patients after the tested negative twice to the virus.
Disclosing the development, the governor said the total number of discharged patients have risen to 107.
Lagos is the epicentre of the coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria and has recorded 376 confirmed cases, more than half of the 665 cases in the country according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
Updating residents on the new feat, Gawat Jubril, the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on new media said, “The Incident Commander of the COVID-19 and Governor of Lagos State, Mr Sanwo-Olu has announced the discharge of nine more COVID-19 patients.
“Five females and four males which includes one foreign National – a Polish. The total discharged is now 107”.
