The Lagos State Government has discharged 33 patients that have twice tested negative for coronavirus on Monday, the state governor said.
The 33 patients were discharged two isolation centres that led the fight against COVID-19 in the state.
Chronicle NG reports that Lagos is the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria accounting for 1845 cases of the 4399 cases recorded in Nigeria.
Providing update on those discharged, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said they were 24 males and nine females.
The governor explained that 17 of the patients were from Onikan and 16 from Eti-Osa (LandMark) Isolation Centres.
They were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative twice consecutively to COVID-19, he noted.
This takes the total number of discharged persons in the state facilities to 502.
