Kogi State Deputy Governor, Elder Simon Achuba abd other pilgrims

The Kogi State government has decided the seek divine intervention over the matters of the state. The Deputy Governor of the state, Elder Simon Achuba, made this remark after he led fellow pilgrims from the state to the Mountain of Transfiguration as part of their activities in the Holy Land.

Elder Achuba stated that just as the miracle of the Transfiguration happened after intensive prayers from Jesus Christ, so also will the fortunes of Kogi State turn around after the painstaking process of getting rid of ghost
    workers from government payroll.

The Deputy Governor urges the people of Kogi state to have faith in the administration and persevere. He noted that Kogi state will soon witness a turn around in all sectors of the state as the government, under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello, is working tirelessly to ensure the growth and development of the state.

The Elder statesman further assured that once the civil service is free of ghost workers, salary will become consistently paid and regular as at when due. He revealed that government is also perfecting plans to simulate other sectors of the state economy.

Elder Achuba expressed appreciation to the people of the state for their patience and support to the administration under the leadership of Alhaji Bello and urged them to maintain the tempo.

He expressed optimism that abundance will soon follow the economic hardship faced by Nigerians. Prayers were offered by the pilgrims for the nation, the Governor and members of his cabinet.
