Amid the intensifying conflict between Israel and Iran, the Israeli Home Front Command has urged citizens to avoid public gatherings and limit movement in open spaces.
The advisory was issued in a statement released on Sunday by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), emphasizing the need for increased caution as tensions escalate across the region.
According to the IDF, citizens should remain close to protected areas and follow official instructions closely.
“Movement in public areas should be minimised, and public gatherings must be avoided.
Upon receiving an alert, enter a protected space and remain there until an official update is issued,” the statement read.
The Home Front Command, a division of the IDF responsible for civil protection, has been closely monitoring the situation and issuing regular updates to ensure public safety.
The directive comes on the heels of a major military escalation between the two countries. Last Thursday, IDF launched multiple airstrikes targeting Iranian military facilities, reportedly killing several top Iranian military officials.
In retaliation, Iran fired hundreds of ballistic missiles at Israel, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, according to authorities.
The latest exchange marks one of the most dangerous escalations in the longstanding rivalry between the two nations, prompting regional and international concern over the potential for broader conflict.
