Iran has failed to attack the US or its forces one day after the President Donald Trump-led administration carried out airstrikes, destroying nuclear sites in the Arab nation.
Chronicle NG reports that the US struck three nuclear sites in Iran, bring the sites to ruins, satalite footages confirmed.
The Arab nation however, fired missiles towards Israel again, but the danger of an immediate salvo on American forces in the region, which included more than 40,000 troops, was never realised.
Throughout the day, US authorities emphasised that the American attacks were not part of a larger offensive campaign.
Those pledges, together with Donald Trump’s Saturday night threat of an overwhelming response to the Arab nation’s aggression, appeared to have persuaded its officials to hold their fire – at least for the time being.
“We’re not at war with Iran,” Vice President JD Vance said during a morning television interview. “We’re at war with Iran’s nuclear program.”
On Sunday evening, the president may have complicated matters with his Truth Social post, which raised the idea of Iranian government change.
While it was phrased as a question, Trump’s statements contrasted sharply with those of his aides and may raise concerns among the Arab nation.
