    INEC declares gov Sule re-elected in Nasarawa

    Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has announced his intention to run for the Nasarawa North senatorial district seat during the 2027 general election.

    The All Progressives Congress (APC) Governor Abdullahi Sule has been re-elected and declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

    According to INEC returning officer Prof Ishaya Tanko, Sule received 347,209 votes, defeating his closest and main challenger, David Umbugadu of the PDP, who received 283,16 votes.
