    Nigeria Immigration Service changes recruitment website

    The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has announced a change in the website of its ongoing recruitment scheme and has alerted citizens that application is free.

    In advertisement on national newspapers, NIS said the previous website indicated in its advert is no longer tenable.

    “Further to the recruitment advertisement published by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), in five national dailies on Friday 13th March 2020, the Board hereby informs that the website for the recruitment exercise has been changed to http://immigrationrecruitment.org.ng.

    “Consequently, the earlier website indicated in the previous publication is no longer in use and so not tenable, NIS said in the advert.

    “The Board wishes to reiterate that apart from the change&migration to a new website, all information contained in the notice remain valid.

    “The public is advised to note that application for the recruitment exercise does NOT require any monetary payments. It is FREE.

    “Kindly indicate your name, enrollment number and location of the Passport Office. Thank you”.
