    Ifeanyi Ubah retains Anambra south senatorial seat

    The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared Ifeanyi, the Young Progressives Party’s senatorial candidate, as the winner of the Anambra South senatorial district election held on Saturday, February 25.

    • JUST IN: Court sacks Ifeanyi Ubah as senator

    Ifeanyi was re-elected after receiving 73,115 votes.

     

    He defeated Chris Azubogu of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, who received 45,369 votes.

     

    Uzo Obinna, the Labour Party’s candidate, finished third with 28,102 votes.
