The National Emergency Management Agency has revealed that the Tuesday night explosion in Bodija of Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, damaged around 20 residences.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, NEMA stated that no casualty estimates were currently available.

It was also reported that the explosion was triggered by a suspected improvised explosive device.

On Tuesday night, terror seized Ibadan residents as an explosion happened on Dejo Oyelese Street in the city’s Bodija area.
