Hungry Protest: Reno Omokri condemns 'strange' pot-carrying protester

Former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has berated a protester at the demonstration in Lagos State after her picture went viral.

The now viral picture shows an aged female protester carrying an empty pot, symbolising her inability to buy food.

The woman who has attracted public sympathy has suffered the wrath of the self-acclaimed “table shaker,” who criticised her over her inability to buy food yet “she is holding a sachet of alcohol.”

Describing her as “strange,” Omokri mentioned that the woman cannot claim to be hungry.

He said, “How can this woman claim to be hungry, yet if you look at her hands, she is holding a sachet of alcohol? She has no money for food but has funds to purchase alcoholic beverages. Strange.”
