    Fulani Herdsmen kill 15 in Kaduna

    About 15 persons have been reportedly killed while several others sustained various degrees of injuries during an attack by terrorists in Ungwan Rana, Gadani village, Gwagwada District of Chikun Local government area of Kaduna State.

    It was gathered that the communities under Gwagwada District, have of recent faced sporadic attacks by terrorists suspected to be Fulani herdsmen.

    On Wednesday, residents of Ungwa Rana whose houses were burnt said they came under deadly attack on a broad daylight.

    “This attack was perfectly planned and executed by terrorists who are suspected to be Fulani herdsmen,” a resident of the area said.

    He said residents have counted no fewer than 15 persons that were killed in the attack, adding that many houses and farms were destroyed.

    “Food, goods, properties and other valuables were destroyed. Many residents were left with high degree of injuries.” a source revealed

    The Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, Aliyu Usman, confirmed the attack but could not give the number of those killed and injured.
