Alhaji Musa Gwadabe, an elder statesman and former minister of Employment, Labour, and Productivity, passed away at the age of 86.
On Tuesday night in Kano, Gwadabe passed away after a protracted sickness.
The late stateman’s funeral prayer would be held at his residence along Maiduguri Road in Kano by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, according to a relative of the elder statesman, Nasiru Gwadabe.
When Olusegun Obasanjo was president in 1999, Alhaji Musa Gwadabe was named minister for the development of solid minerals before being transferred to the Ministry of Employment, Labor, and Productivity.
He was also Secretary to Kano State Government during the tenure of Late Sabo Bakin Zuwo and was a member of several boards.
Until his death, he was a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Board Chairman of, the Industrial Training Fund, ITF.
He was survived by 12 children, great-grandchildren, and relatives.
