The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed two new cases of coronavirus taking the total number of cases to 42 in the country.
According to the NCDC, the two new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed on Tuesday. One is in Lagos State and the other one in Ogun.
“One case is a returning traveler. The second case is contact of a previously confirmed case,” the NCDC said.
The disease control centre noted that, “As at 1pm on March 24, there are 42 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria, two discharged and one death.”
