Arobo Precious, a 28-year-old final-year student at Ondo state-owned Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO), Ondo state, reportedly committed suicide.

Arobo was reportedly discovered dead at 9 p.m. in a bush near his Owo town home.

According to sources, the HND 11 student published a video on social media prior to his death, indicating that he was experiencing emotional agony, which is thought to be related to a failed romantic relationship.

The caption read, “Eniayewu Opeyemi was the one who got me into this. People say there is still life out there, but to me, there is nothing anymore.”

According to a family source, Arobo, who he described as a “good person”, has been buried, and his parents are distraught over his demise.
