Debo Ologunagba was responding to Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed’s statement about the opposition losing the 2023 presidential election.
Tinubu defeated Atiku and Peter Obi of the Labour Party in the presidential poll.
Both candidates are appealing the election results in front of the presidential poll tribunal.
However, Mohammed had urged the opposition to stop whining about the last poll, which they had lost badly.
The minister said that President Muhammadu Buhari’s judgement of why the opposition lost the presidential poll in 2023 was unarguable.
Ologunagba, on the other hand, said Mohammed’s comment was intended to intimidate the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
“The PDP insists that its candidate, Atiku clearly won the February 25, 2023 Presidential poll, as shown by the actual votes cast at the Polling Units across the country,” said Ologunagba.
“The PDP sees the subjudice claims by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, that the opposition lost the election as yet another attempt by the APC-led Federal Executive to bully and blackmail the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.”
“Nigerians are aware that, based on the authentic results obtained from the Polling Units, Atiku Abubakar, not the APC candidate, met all of the requirements for winning the Presidential poll.” according to Daily Post.
