    DIY with DStv Self-service option as you stay at home

    DStv Nigeria in its bid to continue to provide premium service to its customers is encouraging all its subscribers to make use of the self-service options during this stay at home period.

    Customers who would like to stay connected to DStv and its many content offering can do so by utilizing the various self-service options; MyDStvApp, SMS, WhatsApp, USSD Code and eazy.dstv.com. 

    “The stay at home period makes it difficult for everyone to move around with ease and we hope with these self-service options for our DStv customers we are able to make this burden a bit more bearable as we continue to provide the best entertainment in Africa”, says Chief Customer Officer, MultiChoice Nigeria, Martin Mabutho.

    Through the DStv self-service tools, subscribers are able to upgrade their subscriptions, fix error messages, make payments, find installers, rent BoxOffice movies and more. Through these services, customers are guaranteed the best convenience and ease of use.

    MyDStvApp is an easy to use tool that gives DStv customers the power to fully take control  and manage their accounts. Simply download the app from your app store or google play store, input all necessary details and login to make payments, upgrade and downgrade, clear error messages and resolve other technical problems.

    Also available is the DStv USSD self-service tool. On this platform, customers can clear error codes, determine account balance, contact customer care and update account details. To enjoy this service, dial *288# from your mobile phone, follow the instructions and select from the available self-service options.

    Customers are also able to get their account up and running using SMS; Simply send RESET (space) SMARTCARD number to 30333 to clear error messages and to determine due date, send DUE (space) SMARTCARD number to 30333. The first 10 digits of your smartcard number is required.

    As customers stay home and help to end the COVID-19 pandemic, DStv has further reinforced its commitment to ensure that customers are informed and entertained; first the brand new Hallelujah Pop-Up channel on DStv 198 shows worship services and sermons from a wide selection of churches in Nigeria; children are not left out on fun and learning with Toonami channel 300 and Mindset Pop on Ch. 317.

    Sports lovers can also, relive the greatest stories in sport with SuperSport Relive available on up to 12 SuperSport channels; not forgetting local and global News channels now available on lower packages.
